Energy & Utility Skills (EU Skills) is the Sector Skills Council for the
gas,
power,
waste management and
water industries. It is our mission to ensure that our industries have the skills they need now and in the future.
The skills of our people and their continuing development are crucially important to employers and employees. We aim to ensure that employers of all sizes have people with the right skills and qualifications to support the success of their businesses. Of equal importance is ensuring that individual employees have the skills and qualifications that they need to be both employable and personally fulfilled.
It is critical that the employer’s voice should be significant in choosing the provision of training and skills development, and the related systems of qualifications.
We also need to ensure that quality skills and education providers are available to deliver training provision for our industries.
